This week we are launching the ability to automatically renew your Hanson.net membership, so you will see some small changes to the My Account page. Updates will be rolling out over the next few days
AUTO RENEWAL
You can now opt in to automatically renew your Hanson.net membership. This feature can be turned ON during checkout, or turned OFF and ON from your Billing page under My Account.
SAVED PAYMENT METHOD
To use Auto Renewal, you will need to have a saved Payment method. You can now add and or manage all your saved payment options from the Billing page under My Account.
DIGITAL ONLY
Auto Renewal is currently for digital memberships only. What that means is when you are automatically renewed it will be for a digital membership.
*ONE YEAR AT A TIME
If you prefer to buy your hanson.net membership without using Auto Renewal, simply go to the Hanson.net store and purchase a Membership like you always have.
NOTE: You will not be able to manually add a membership to your cart unless the auto renew feature is OFF.
*MEMBERSHIP REWARDS
If your membership expires, don’t worry, all your Pins and Store Points and member since (how many years you have been a member) will be retained for 30 days awaiting your membership renewal.
NOTE: If you do not renew your membership within 30 Days your PINS, Store Points and member since date will be deleted automatically.

So, question. With this auto renew, if our membership isn’t set to expire until after May..will we get the digital EP when it’s released if we have auto renew on or will we have to wait. I’ve always renewed right before may to ensure I got my EP at HDAY because I collect the CDs.

So since my membership doesn’t expire until December I have to wait until December to get the cd?!?!

Just need one additional feature, can you have an option to renew before Hanson Day....
my renewal date is in June and I am always going to have to do it manually to ensure I get my CD sent on time

Maybe I'm just confusing myself even more, but if we want to continue to get the CD we can't auto renew? Or we can, but we have to wait until the actual day of expiration to fill out some form to get the CD as well?
And to reiterate what a few others have posted -
1. If our membership expires after May, we don't get the digital download until the renewal kicks in?
2. If our membership expires after May, there's no way to opt to renew earlier/pick an auto renewal date?

Yes, I understood that part. But the digital download is what I am talking about. Will I get the digital download when it’s released or in September when my membership renews.

If I don't want to auto renew can we not renew early anymore? Mine expires in July but I always renew in time for hday to get the cd/digital download right away. Would be really unfortunate if we have to wait now.

So I get that auto renew is only digital (now, lol), but I'm really hating the fact I can't manually renew whenever I want, and I'm stuck waiting until my expiration date with auto renew or even selecting CD+digital.

If that’s the case then I’m absolutely not a fan of this. I renew early every year to get my members kit in May when it comes out. I don’t want to wait until September to get the music.

My membership expires in December and I prefer the CD. I've always renewed early so I can get the new CD right when it comes out :(
