I remember the first time I saw you. It was in August 1997, at the end of a TV show here in Brazil, called Planeta Xuxa (today it no longer exists). At the end of the program there was always a new band or singer that was being successful and that day the Mmmbop clip was shown and I've liked you since that day. I started watching them on MTV, listening to them on the radio, looking for pictures on the internet and bought the “Middle of Nowhere” CD. My friends loved you too and it was great to share the news with them. I always bought a new poster or magazine from you and pasted several on my bedroom walls hehehe.

I’m 38 years old and I can say with certainty that you are part of my life and have a very special place in my heart, not only because you marked my childhood and adolescence, but because I feel like I love you as if you were my family. I always dreamed of meeting them and I really believe that it will happen one day. You came to my city (Salvador) only once, but unfortunately I couldn't go to the show and I'm still sorry for that. I hope you come back here to finally have the great joy of enjoying one of your concerts.

Hearing and seeing you cheers me up, makes me happy, makes me relax and deal better with everyday stress. You guys always rock in everything you do. Oh, in addition to loving your songs, know that all the songs you sing by other artists sound better in your voice. Record more!!!

Keep being humble as you are. This is the quality that stands out most in you. You really want to get to know us and value each one. I also really admire the value you place on your family. You are also one of the reasons why I want to learn to speak English hehehehe... one day we'll talk!
